This was a personal project that we created to improve our modeling and lighting techniques.
​
With the idea of something futuristic we wanted to use these elements as a poster asset by the end of the project. Creating something visually appealing.
Texturing was also something we wanted to explore here. Keeping the topology and poly-count relatively low, and adding micro-details with the help of software like Substance Painter.
​
Below are some of the renders we created with focus on those micro-details. Until we eventually settled on the image you see in the mock-up poster on the left.
